ROSE SANGRIA

One of my favorite summer drinks, especially when we are cooking out on the grill with seafood.  You can use white wine or red wine, but rosé is so refreshing and pretty.


2 peaches, pitted, one diced and the other sliced
2 lemons, one juiced and the other sliced into circles
1 orange, sliced into circles
1 cup strawberries, hulled and cut in half
3 T granulated sugar
½ cup orange liqueur
2 bottles or 1 large bottle rosé wine

In a large pitcher, muddle the diced peach.
Add the juiced lemon and lemon circles
Add the orange and strawberries.
Add the sugar and orange liqueur.
Pour in the wine and stir a few seconds, to combine.
Cover and refrigerate 4 to 6 hours.

Pour into glasses with a couple of cubes of ice.

Serves 6 to 8
